Use Cases
LinkWatchr is indispensable for SEO agencies managing multiple client portfolios. With dedicated client workspaces, agencies can ensure each client's backlink data is secure and accessible only to authorized personnel, streamlining reporting and client communication. Link building agencies can leverage LinkWatchr to prove the delivery of placed links and quickly identify any removals or modifications, ensuring client satisfaction and protecting their investment.
In-house SEO teams benefit from a centralized dashboard to oversee their entire backlink portfolio, gaining real-time insights into link health and performance. Freelancers can scale their monitoring efforts efficiently, paying only for the credits they use, making it a cost-effective solution for growing their services.
Pricing Information
LinkWatchr operates on a credit-based pricing model, allowing users to pay for monitoring as they need it without per-link caps or forced daily crawls. An active subscription plan is required for platform access, which includes a monthly credit allowance. Additional credits can be purchased. A 14-day free trial is available, offering full feature access and 1,000 free credits upon email verification, with no credit card required to start.
User Experience and Support
Getting started with LinkWatchr is designed to be quick and straightforward, taking under two minutes through a three-step process: adding links, setting schedules, and catching changes. The platform provides detailed email alerts for all detected changes, including what changed, its previous state, and which links require attention. Alerts via Slack are also noted as "coming soon."
Technical Details
LinkWatchr's core functionality revolves around active web crawling and data comparison. It systematically crawls specified backlinks, compares current attributes (anchor text, rel status, HTTP status codes) against previous crawls, and logs all detected modifications.
